Hi! I'm Martha and I love serving you as the Director of Christian Education at Ankeny Presbyterian Church. It is such a blessing to work every day with the wonderful community here at APC.
I grew up in the Des Moines area and always knew I wanted to stay here for good. So after I graduated from Marquette University, I convinced my now-husband Chris to give Iowa a try. He came, and we've been here ever since. He works at Drake in the Admissions Office - go bulldogs! In his free time, Chris likes to study the U.S. Civil War and write lyrics for his annual office holiday party song.
Outside of church, I love to read, run, practice yoga, complete the newspaper Jumble, and play board games. Chris and I also have a goal to visit every state of the U.S. together: we're over halfway there already.
