CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

We want your child to know that no matter who they are or where they are right now, they are welcome here! Our space is a place, to be honest about who we are and where we are on our journey. Sometimes we aren’t perfect, and that is ok. Sometimes we might fall, and that is ok. We want you to know that this space is open to all conversations and that you are heard and valued. We also understand that the church can be confusing and that we don’t always do a great job answering questions. Our space is for those questions, and we will do our best to help you answer them or help guide you in the right direction to find the answers on your own.

APC Kids
SUNDAY | 9:45 AM TO 10:30 AM
APC Kids ages 4 to 5th grade meet on Sundays immediately following the choir anthem at Ankeny Presbyterian Church. We enjoy making crafts, playing games, and learning more about God each week through creative storytelling and patient questions! Summer
DAY CAMP
June 24-28 | 9 AM to 4:30 PM
​Our Summer Day Camp with Heartland Camps is a week-long unique blend of outdoor ministries and congregational ministry that is designed for young people who have completed grades K-5. Our hope is to build relationships and impact lives for Jesus Christ by connecting young people with committed Christian role models and teaching kids the love of God through daily Bible stories, crafts, and skits. As well as participating in the outdoors with water games, archery, and camp activities! The 2023 camp will be held June 19-23.
